We had a really positive experience with the team here. My mum moved into a long term care home from the hospital and required a tilting wheelchair on short notice. The team moved very quickly to source a wheelchair with help from the team at CAMH, apply for funding, and walk us through the process. Willa was the person we were most in contact with. I don't think I've ever waited more than an hour for an email response from Willa and she kept us up to speed on all developments. She was extremely organized throughout the process. Willa even set mum up with a loaner wheelchair while we awaited delivery.
Hannah in the office was also very helpful in coordinating payment, dates for a delivery, even working with the staff at the LTC home while I had to be out of the country. We had one issue with the loaner wheelchair—it stopped working around the time we were expecting for delivery of the new wheelchair. When I called the office, the person I talked to while Hannah was unavailable (I'm so sorry, I don't remember her name). She was already aware of my mum's file when I'd called and told me they were working to get one more part delivered before the wheelchair was ready. I let them know that mum really needed something in the interim as the loaner had malfunctioned. Mum had her new wheelchair the next day and she loves it.
I greatly appreciate that the team here truly cares about people, particularly loved ones requiring medical devices and their families trying to help their loved ones. We have been very grateful to have connected with Willa, Hannah, and the rest of the team at Versatile. Our mum is very happy and so are we. Thank you!
